Campcraft training is mandatory for any leader taking responsibility for a canvas camp, providing you with the correct skills and procedures to facilitate a well run and managed under canvas camp for your young members.

The course covers:

• Setting up standing camps
• Cooking equipment and accommodation
• Sanitation and safety
• Practical campcraft experience

Upon completing Campcraft training, a leader will hold a valid 5 year certificate

Attendees are required to bring lunch, notepad and pen. Participants are not required to wear BB uniform when attending Campcraft training sessions.

Our Training Programme for 2024-2025 Session is being held and organised jointly with West Lothian Battalion. Where possible we do not add a cost for ELD or WLD participants, external Battalions may incur nominal fee for each participant.
