16 members of Edinburgh, Leith & District Boys’ Brigade have just returned from a weekend long camp to Craggan Outdoor Centre.
The residential camp brought together boys aged from 8 to 14 for a weekend of outdoor pursuits and teambuilding activities.
The Battalion had an overwhelming response from its members and in fact, research by the BB highlighted that residential events are one of the most popular activities for members.
Members took part in ice breakers, hillwalking, rambling, kayaking, canoeing, and team building games. They also took part in a knockout competition (pool, table tennis and Connect 4) and Pointless quiz.
David Scott, Development Officer, The Boys’ Brigade said:
“Residential events are one of the most popular activities for members with many young people talking of camp as the highlight of the BB year.
“The camp, at our facility in Ardeonaig, gave our members a greater sense of independence, a more in-depth awareness of the outdoors and let them have a weekend of fun, taking part in a range of outdoor activities.”
Thanks must go to Sandy, Gordon B, John, Gordon H, Graham and Calum for helping out and supporting the camp.
