Anchors & Juniors Museum of Flight Visit

128 Anchors & Juniors from 10 Companies visited the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune yesterday afternoon (Sunday 14th May).

Rev Ian Gilmour, Battalion Chaplain delivered a short message on based The Body of Christ Works Together (1 Corinthians 12:12-20).

The children got the opportunity to explore the history of aviation from the First World War to the present day, from the daunting early days of flight to supersonic Concorde.

Highlights included:

  • Climbing on board Scotland's Concorde
  • Exploring how and why things fly in Fantastic Flight
  • Second World War Object Handling in the Education Centre
